    key fob not working

I have to pull on the handle multiple times, and sometimes hit unlock button to get door open. Had trouble staring the car once. Worst in am. Took to dealer, they only duplicated it once, so couldn't find the problem. They said it wasn't the battery for the fob. Any ideas? It's getting worse, and I don't want to go back to the dealer and have them not fix it again. Thanks.

I would replace the battery and reprogram the FOB to be safe.

does your other fob work OK? If so, it is definitely the battery.

$4 and 3 minutes of your time to change.

Yea, CR2032's don't last forever. If worse comes to worse, you have to re-synch them. It is detailed in the owners manual. IT uses that little slot inside the center console (just under the video inputs).

Yea, these Fob's are evidently real voltage sensitive. If your automatic trunk release is slow, or won't work, it's probably the battery. They don't seem to last too long.

Thats what I thought, but the dealer said it wasn't the battery. I asked multiple times. I will try other fob, too. Should I just replace the battery and not trust them, that they should of done it?

The battery is pretty cheap and you will need one sooner or later. I say go for it. If the battery doesn't fix the problem you can store the battery in the freezer for later use.
