2006 STS-V super low miles $39.7K

Found this listed in my local paper Sun-Sentinel so I searched and found Brahman Cadillac's Ebay listing - looks really nice thought I'd share my find.

Couple of comments: under 3K miles AND CERTIFIED for under 40K, nice find! Moreover, that is likely not an 06 unless somebody added the fender vents after the fact. So, even better deal. If I did not need AWD, an STS-V, and perhaps that one, would be in my garage. CTS-V out for the same reason plus too small.

The other day on ebay there was an 08 sts-v for 38900 with about 15k miles, one note said it was a little rough,some body should go for it !

They've put money in that price to allow for a downward negotiation. Offer them 38,500, and if it does actually have those side vents on it, site that as part of the reason why. The car is not stock but has been modified from the original 06.

Good price, but car looks a little rough to me on the inside. Plus, it has been listed since there was snow on the ground and it was 27 degrees out (DIC). Why? Something tells me that in person, it would be a dissapointment.

Yes, I saw the dirt on the floor, as well. But, how much wear could someone do in 15,000 miles? I was tempted to take a little trip to check it out, personally. If it is decent and can come back from the brink of dirty, might be a good deal.

Totally agree. The seats looked soiled to me in the photos too and the door (inside) seemed to have a blemish. Not that all that cannot be remedied. I was also thinking, "how can somebody do that to such a nice car in so few miles"? Almost looks like a smoker's car. No offense smokers, really. But some of your fellow smokers can really ruin a car and discolor light colored materials. Two of my partners smoke and if they get light colored cars, they are trashed after 2 years to a point that I could not bring them back. And yes, I know that non-smokers can do the same thing. Not trying to start a smoking debate.

Well we are in a recession so cars just like houses are not selling a quickly as you would expect.

I checked on the '07 before buying mine. It was a "lemon". It was sent back to Cadillac for brakes and steering. That is why there is no free Carfax on it. I am sure it is a good buy for someone, but I kind of like having brakes and steering. I did not want to chance it. Cadillac did extend the warranty on it another year and 20K miles maybe. Not real sure on the warranty.
