    Second time now . . .

I guess it's time for a new juice box for the car!

CIWS has the cure. Search his posts for a Red Top that fits. Forget about the crappy warranty battery they put in there, the time and embarrasment of a dead battery in an $80k car is not worth the free replacement.

Yep, still the stock AC/Delco, and I know they do not have a good life . . .

Luckily the few times it died was at home in the garage and the Battery Tender brings it back . .

I do respect I can get a new one from the stealer under warrantee, but have seriously thought about getting "good" battery such as the Optima. I have one of those in my 2000 SS Convertible.

If I drive it regularly I have not had an issue, but I bet this is a sure sign it will give me issue sometime soon. . . .

Make that x2 --the red top I have in my 00 WS6 has been in it since Feb '03 -- 6 years now, and still going strong..

Well I have to say the OEM battery offically crapped this morning . . . been driving everyday, but the voltage just seemed low . . .

So now it is nearly as dead as dead can be . . . nary a noise when you hit the button, and all the interior lights would go dead, and VERY slowly recover . . . and then the car would TRY to go into accessory mode. . . .

    Poor V . . .

Yup,...but it did give you a warning. When you have to jump start it the 1st time, for any reason, 9 times out of 10, you need a battery.

Corvettes too? What electronics do they have? Batteries dieing was common for my previous 745i but that cars like comparing a laptop to a wristwatch.

I know is I have to let my towncar sit for an extended period i have to shut off the air suspension in the trunk.
