    New V Owner

Hey guys. After several months of looking, I bought my V today. 06 Blk/Blk, 26k on the clock. LOVE IT! I do have a couple questions.

    1) What are the different stock sport/TC settings? I saw the performance setting mentioned in owners manual(push TC twice in 5 secs) and have heard references to holding TC for 10 secs. Are these different settings, and if so, what are diffrences.

2)Those who have ECM tune, are they still civilized around town. Basic question is should i do permanent tune or wait till handheld becomes more relaible?

    All input is appreciated

Pressing the TC once turns Traction Control off. Twice within 5 seconds puts the car in Competitive Driving mode (Traction off and Stability is still on but more relaxed) Pressing and holding the TC button for 10 seconds should turn Traction and Stability control completely off.

Be careful if you turn Stability off as the car has enough HP and TQ to get a driver in trouble.

Congrats on your and to the Cadillac Forums.
