It appears to be a muffler for the supercharger incoming air.

Changing the exhaust to Corsa's... I think it sounds better, even "feels" better , but the dyno shows no noticeable improvemnet.
I actually spent money for a better sound and you've shown a way to get another sound improvement for free.

My concern with removing the baffles : Does the baffle serve a second purpose of smoothing the airflow?
The cavity itself will be larger , but the intake/filter tube has not changed in size and at the exit end the air still flows into the same coupler tube and down into the throttle body.
Will removing the baffle actually create turbulence? does this help or hinder airflow?
