Well got my 07 STS-V today. Did not get much time to play, but my first impression is it is a quick, fairly nimble car. It also has a pretty plush ride. Has a lot better feel than the CTS-V I drove for sure. Seems to be a pretty good mix of performance/comfort.
I will be looking forward to some more seat time and see what it is all about.
Glad I could help, that's what a community is all about... She keeps getting faster as you break her in. Don't forget. knock the stick over to S mode and push your TC button twice to turn on performance mode and have fun. OR hold down the TC button for 10 seconds to turn off all TC and stabilitrac for some tail wagging fun. Any real drifting fun you will have to get a tuner to remove all that TM crap cause the wheel hop feature limits your "hanging the tail out fun" pretty bad.
Go to a Caddy dealer and have them perform the TSB for the rear pinoin seal. This will keep you out of trouble down the road.
Got to drive some today, have a lot to say about it - better than I thought, but right now I am in the middle of something else so I wil elaborate more later. I appreciate the tips. I have been playing with some of the performance features, but not enough for sure. Get the manual tomorrow and will digest it quickly.
I did join as a member when I first digned up - did I miss something. I am a member of several car forums so I know the deal about supporting.
Lookin forward to getting some real time - and to get it broken in to see how it really does!
