This car is a complete departure for me since I come from a history pony cars, SUVs, muscle cars, etc. After a few days of ownership, I'm still giddy about all the cool features that come in this car and how nice it rides (compared to the rough riding vehicles I've always owned). This car is truly badass.

I've always been a sucker for a strong engine built from the factory for forced induction (1986 GN, 2004 Cobra among the cars I've owned/own), so I guess it was inevitable that I go down this path. New, the car was out of my price range, but I found a great deal on a used 2006. Here's a few shots:

Welcome to the club! You'll definitely enjoy this car... no doubt about it!

I'm partial to the black STS-V myself. What color is your interior?

Nice Collection there and welcome -- of course I'm not a Ford man but the I still like the sound of a Cobra's..

    Thanks for the welcome.

My interior is a charcoal color. I picked it up Thursday and was on this board the following day researching mods for it....I guess modding is a disease I have. In my limited research so far, it seems like picking up 50-75 rwhp isn't a difficult proposition, although mods are alot more money than they are for my Cobra.

    An open question for anybody:

How's Cadillac when it comes to minor mods/warranty work? I have a warranty until 2012/100k so I may have to bite the bullet and leave it stock for awhile.

I'm in the same boat -- both my SSEi and WS6 are modded I never had any issues with Pontiac on the WS6 with warranty repairs -- the dealership in Greenville was VERY lenient -- even a close friend of mind would roll up in there with his nitrous kit full intact

I am going to get more miles on it before I start with the fever -- it has a little over 12,500 now..

Yep. I'd say we're in the exact same situation. This car preceded the Cobra:

You can see why I'm so excited about the STS-V. Nothing but rough riding performance cars in my past. I know the Buick guys liked to say they were "Going Fast With Class", but the STS takes that to a whole new level.

dealer-dependent. some give warranty repair hassles for stock cars. some are great. search this site and read the dealer rankings on cadillacfaq.com

Already been ALL OVER your website. Was poking around your products the day after I bought it.

You'll be getting a call from me shortly. Who should I ask to speak to?

    Thanks,
