We typically run 20" wheel on our vehicles although larger does not always mean heavier. We weighed the stock 19" wheels on our XLR-V. They came in 6 pounds heavier than the new 20" replacements. That's a lot of rotational 'unsprung' weight to save. From that aspect, they cars 'should' perform better on the streets.
Looking back at our old dyno videos we've posted, you'll notice the wheels are off the cars when we test them. Our dyno facility bolts the dyno directly to the axles for zero wheel slip and this helps keep the numbers consistent on runs. As far as an apples to apples comparison, technically, every car performs just a little bit different, especially these which are hand built by the factory. Some make a little more power, some a little less.
As an example, we might gain 10 rwhp from a modification giving us 'X' +10 rwhp, if your car produces 10 less rwhp you would still gain the +10 rwhp, but your numbers would differ from ours.
