H m m m m, another set of Pirelli Euphoria's bite the dust.

Now what to get? . . . My local Firestone is really pimping the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity.

Wow! That looks like my old tires before I replaced them. How many miles did you get out of the run-craps this time? Mine lasted about 18,500 before looking like this, and I think that was pretty good.

I put Goodyear F1 All Season tires on mine and really like them. Good handling, a much better ride and (supposedly) longer treadlife.

Read the other thread to get my opinion on the GY GSD3s. I'm thinking the F1 all season would be a great choice.

There's nothing wrong that a little black paint and armour-all won't cure. With that and a pair or crossed fingers, I'm sure you can get another couple hundred miles out of them.

Just a quick note here in Props to Goodyear. I sent off my rebate on the set of tires I bought in the 2nd week of June and got the check back in the mail yesterday (50.00). Pretty quick and no hassle.

Your picture looks almost exactly like the ones I saw yesterday watching the Nascar Brickyard 400. At least you got a little better mileage than they were getting yesterday - 15 to 20 laps - or less than 50 miles per tire change. Goodyear can't be real happy with THAT kind of advertising.
