Why not the GSD3s? Did they fall out of favor?

Re: I think I need new tires . . .

I didn't post them but they were a bit cheaper. I ordered the Pzero Rosso's I have had really good tread wear and excellent traction with them. I heard the front sizes were discontinued but don't know how reliable that was. Tire Rack still has them.

They were becoming almost impossible to get, plus a few didn't care for them after purchase.

I like them, but they are getting a little on the loud side.

Re: I think I need new tires . . .

I need to replace my Pirelli "Run Craps" also. It's hard to find an exact match on the sizes for other brands. I want a quieter and less harsh tire. Michelin PS2's seem like a great choice, but they only make a 255-40-18 for the front, which is 1/2 - 1 inch lower than factory. Is anyone running these? The other choices seem to be Goodyear GS-D3's, Continentals, Yokohama's, or more Pirelli's. Which one are most of you going with out there? PS: I'm in Phoenix. The tires will never see winter weather. Thanks!

Re: I think I need new tires . . .

Three best choices for summer are, GY GSD3's, Pirelli P0 Rosso asym's, Conti's sport 2's, all make OEM sizes (non run-flat) for a matched set and listed in lowest to highest priced. All are a good tire. Try them all,---- it will only take you 30k to go through 3 sets.

Re: I think I need new tires . . .

Thanks! Which ones are you running? Which ones of the three are the quietest? Any thoughts on that?

Re: I think I need new tires . . .

I am running P0's on the rear and have great traction and good treadwear. Not really that loud even going bald.... my Mich PS2's on front make a lot of noise from 1/2 to 3/4 worn. I won't buy Mich. again.

Re: I think I need new tires . . .

My PS2s are awesome and haven't gotten loud at all. And they are the best street tire out there. One of the few non-RFT tires that have the cornering stability of a RFT...

I don't know if they are worth $60 more a tire for the exact same rating.

BigJimSho:
What size PS2's are you running on the front. They don't make the factory size.
