looking for info on proper aggerssive shifting

im new to the "v"and would like some tips on how to and when to shift from a dead stop, if i race somebody at a stop light.

V into SS off mode, shifter in manual, foot on brake - load up the tq converter to about 3K rpm. Stuff foot to firewall, watch your r's, shift as you get in the red. Repeat as necessary thru gears until fool is speck in rearview.

I've found that my times improve if I take my foot off the brake in between those two steps.

i think in sd mode with tc off and and let the car do the shifting exactly where it should shift...

IF those tricks doesnt work for you, just get a programmed ecu like i did, and you will chirp second gear even at 1/2 throttle, and at wide open throttle the shifts are so firm youll fall in love even more with your car. my second gear is so firm i break loose the rear end sideways everytime even with the trac control on, but much better switched off, with the gear in sport mode, without manually shifting, and in competitive mode.-

YES, if you are in the detroit area, theres a place called vector motorsports in clinton township, mi, thats who did my tune or go to www.vectormotorsports.com. the owner name is kirk, and he is also trying to perfect the intercooler fan to kick on at a lower temp.
