Thumbs up Just Installed D3's Torque Master Spark Plugs...

I Just Installed a set of D3's Torque Master Spark Plugs today.. All I can say is that there is a definante improvement in overall power that you can feel!! These Spark Plugs are definantly not hype.. Well worth the money & PITA installation!! I had to remove the battery & battery tray to get the last rear passenger side Spark Plug in, as the swivels were not cutting it for me.

D3 has offered another outstanding product!

Re: Just Installed D3's Torque Master Spark Plugs...

I installed the same spark plugs last summer, but I couldn't tell the difference because I installed the D3 stage I intake, D3 stage II pipes, the spark plugs and had the car professionally dyno tuned all on the same day.

I picked up great power overall, so again, I can't see what the plugs did by themselves. I can tell that the torquemaster spark plugs look very high tech when you pull them out of the box to inspect them. I am sure they are worth every penny!

I wish someone would dyno test the plugs by themselves on a stock STS-V, so we can see the gains with just the plugs.

Whoever buys my car after my lease is up is going to be one lucky new STS-V owner. I have had my car since February of 2007 and I just hit 9,200 miles on the odometer and my lease will be up in a few short months as I only did a 24 month lease. With all the GMAC pull aheads being offered, I can get out of my lease very soon and into a 2009 CTS-V!!!! I can't wait!

I will be removing the following:

D3 Stage I intake, black wrinkle finish
D3 Stage II pipes, black wrinkle finish
Clear LED Taillights
Clear LED third brake light

I am going to leave the spark plugs in. It is hell swapping them out and isn't worth the labor to try and re-coup money on a set of used spark plugs.

I was thinking of taking everything off and selling the parts, taking the car back to stock since I barely drive the car. All parts are in new condition.

Re: Just Installed D3's Torque Master Spark Plugs...

Glad you're happy with them. When I installed them here, we did it on the owner's STS-V and didn't tell him. The next morning he asked what we did because the car felt so much better and more responsive. He couldn't believe it was all from a set of plugs.

Re: Just Installed D3's Torque Master Spark Plugs...

It's simple math.. These Spark Plugs love fuel! They are similar to what my CTS-V felt like after I installed the MSD Coil Packs.

Hey Aero, what were your dyno numbers with this setup? Have you had the V out to the track? Would be very interesting to see the 1/4 mi times.
