Cadillac Forums: Lots of PCM/VCM/TCM Updates get them done!
Here is the list of available PCM/VCM/TCM computer updates that my 2006 STS-V recieved two weeks ago. I highly recommend that everyone have it done, especially before dyno tuning. My tuner noticed that alot of problems had gotten taken care of when he compared my updated stock file to a non-updated stock file. The numbers will be the same in each colum for the ones that have no update.

What do I need to buy to be able to read the various settings in the ECU and to be able to load in new programs to improve the preformance?
Is there a specific programmer that works better than others? Are they all compatiable with various GM cars and trucks? Meaning if I got one that works for a STS-V would it also work for a new Tahoe, Denali, or Escalade, etc...?
