What price would you pay for a BRAND NEW 2006 STS-V?
Just wanted to know from current owners....what price would you currently pay for a BRAND NEW 2006 STS-V (in your preferred color combination) as of today? THANKS!

Just curious... How did you run across a brand new 06 STSV? Is that from a dealership? If so they held on to it a little too long. You should be able to get that at a pretty good price.
Thanks,

I would be concerned about the engine. If a new STS was rarely driven, oil never gotten up to temperature (maybe the original oil never changed), moisture and acid formation might have done some damage to the bearing, pistons, valves etc. An unused vehicle, unless prepped for storage, is not a real good thing.

Why do they still have a "brand new" 06? Most dealers would have gotten rid, or at least tried to, of the 06's before the 07's came out. 08's are already out, they better be giving that thing away. Like everyone has said, a car is not made to sit around for that long without the proper maintenance. I would be very, very cautious.
They will generally only do it for Supporting members of the forum. One month (if that's all you want to pay for) will cost you 5.00 IMO pretty cheap to get it checked.
I would also say have a Carfax run just to check it's history, but if you are confident it's still brand new, that may not be worth the 25.00.
I bought a "used" Certified 2006 that had 180 miles on the odo for 49K. It was owned by GM Detroit until they sent it to the GM auction in FL in Sept 07 with 113 miles on the odo. The dealership I bought the car from purchased it at that auction.
