Sold my blk/blk CTS-V the other day..

I was torn between purchasing a 2006 vs 2007 STS-V.. Financially, the 2006 was a far better deal for me. I picked her up Certified for $42,800. Do you guys know if that is a good deal, about right, or did i pay too much? It is Platinum with a black interior with 11,600m on the odometer. I'm now awaiting the dealership to finish the Certification/Servicing before i pick it up in about a week. Oh... I almost forgot to mention the best part.. TG.. It has "no" front plate bracket!!

Anyways... Love the Platinum.. It really stands out at night, and kinda makes the car look like a speeding bullit!!

Certified with 11.6K miles on the odo ? I'd say you got a real good deal. Congrats

edit- While they've got the car see if they'll go ahead and perform the recall.

If they're going to look and make sure everything is current and do the recall I think that should cover things. Maybe ewill will read this thread and add his comments

    Austin,
Welcome! You picked the best combination! As you could guess, I have the same! Only other thing is to check for the seat creak. If you don't have the creak, don't worry about it.

    ewill3rd has been extremely heplful.

He already gave me the nav TSB referance number. I sure hope they do it. If anyone knows what the ecm/computer firmware is, or a TSB for it. Please let me know that number. I remember someone here posting about a relflash to make the transmission shift better. Is that the same one as the main ecm/computer? I would like to have that done as well and call it a day.

Big rear wing, coffee can muffler with 5" outlet, neon undercarriage lights? Or maybe spring for the big mod: Lambo doors!

Congrats, welcome to the dark side. We have not had many troubles with our cars. Get in, hang on and drive.

Oh, and black is still faster, even in the STS-V.
