1. My state requires a front license plate. The factory did not provide a front plate mount for the STS-V, correct? (If so, I'm feeling kind of silly because I ordered TWO brass V-logo license plate frames). Anybody know of anyone who offers a tasteful plate holder that is formed to fit the front spoiler?
2. I always put a tranny cooler on my auto trans cars. Does the STS-V already have one? (I could look myself but it snowed last night and crawling under the car on that cold concrete floor is harder than typing this in my warm chair).
They do have a front plate holder for our car, mine came with it stuck back in the spare wheel well until my plates came in and the dealership mounted it. It is form fitted to the front bumper of our car.
Ahh. When we bought our car the floor mats were in the trunk. We pulled out the mats and the original front license plate was sitting under them. Looks like the original owner never had the front plate mounted; there are no holes in the front bumper where the mount would have been. Enforcement of this law is lax, so I might just ignore it, or I'll complain to the dealer that it is obligated to give me a car that complies with law, so they owe me a free mount.
in california its alot worse, but i never put mine on. cant stand how it looks. if its a state law the dealer has to give on to you. usually they dont pull sts out here. they only way is if i get pulled over for speeding they add it on to the ticket. all i do is tie strap it to the lowerz part of the fron grill and get it written off, then remove it again.
I know i could plug the holes, its just not as clean of a look in my opinion. Personally I would want them filled and painted over if I was to ever take it off. I guess i should have stated what i said differently, but I know it could be taken off.
