First "Mod(s)" are on the car. Had Clear Bra and tint done

I've been waiting since I got the car to have the Clear Bra put on the front and the windows tinted, and got them both done yesterday through a local business named Speed Shield.

The Clear Bra installer is Trey Pappas and he's been doing protective film installs for 8 years originally starting on aircraft. So he's got a lot of experience with it. I took it up to his shop area at a hanger located at one of the local airports, but he can also come to the customer. Here's a few pics from yesterday while he was installing it, and then a few shots after he was finished taken of the front end.
















I had the entire front bumper/facia, done and then the first 24" of the hood, fenders, and the mirrors. In total it took him only 4 hours to get finished even with me bugging him and asking questions.

So if anyone is in the D/FW area and considering getting their vehicle Clear Bra'd or windows tinted here's the folks that can do it with lots of experience.

It's at the standard limits here for TX 35%

WOW, the first 24"? that seems like a lot. My 3M clearbra only goes past the rear of the top of the headlights by about an inch.

The original kit on my CTS-V was 12-14" on the hood and fenders, but Clear Bra has a 24" kit for the STS-V. In that 2nd pic you can pretty much see how far up the hood and fender pieces go.

I had several rocks or whatever strike the hood on the CTS-V just above where the clear bra ended, so I asked to have the 24" one put on the STS-V.

However Trey can also customize the install and if I had wanted I could have had the whole hood and fenders covered. Apparently some of the M5 customers he's done has asked for that.

I did a post on this subject under the regular STS section not the 'V' section and most of the replies were not favorable. I have an 07 STS and at first only wanted to do the headlights and parking/fog lights, after seeing what happened to my 00 STS lenses, then thought about doing the whole front end. Can I get some more opinions?

I saw a kit that did the entire front clip and the mirrors, it cost $2,500. Don't think they will do an entire car, it would be cheaper to repaint!
