Glad to have helped, I'd be happier if he listed the new software versions in the story.

I can go back and look over the invoice some more, but I retyped that from the field on the invoice where he placed the notes.

This is what it should have, not sure if you can get someone to hook up a Tech 2 or not...

Select: F1 Navigation radio. Verify that the software versions are:

    - Navigation system software version = 0FC1

    - Audio system software version = 010C

I don't see those numbers anywhere on the invoice, however the performance shop where I had the CTSV tuned and will get the STSV dyno'd has a tech II and I can probably get them to check it. Thanks for the version numbers

Got this checked this evening while I had the car dyno'd.

    Nav - 0FC1

    Audio - 010C

    Soft Part # 15876179

Sounds like they did it correctly.

The car did get "stuck" however in "Accessory Active" This came up on the display along with the message to place the car in Park. The car was in park and would not come out of this mode. I could start the car but there was no MPH readings when driven. You could shift the car from park, reverse, nuetral, and drive but it didn't know that it was (display had no gear readout), also when it was in reverse the reverse lights did not come on. When you went to shut the car off the engine would stop but it stayed in Accessory Active and continued to say to put the car in park, despite it already being there and the Nav screen would stay on (displaying the Cadillac logo and STS). After trying several different things I finally pulled the battery terminals and let it sit for about 10 minutes. After hooking them back up the car returned to normal functioning.

    Seen that before ewill ?

The only pairing you need to be worried is the one for the Saturday night square dance down at the community center gramps.

Sounds like you had some sort of logic lock there.
I haven't seen that, but it sounds like a communication issue maybe.
Let me know if you see it again, I can do some research.

366.5 rwhp on run # 3 - It was raining pretty heavy so the air was really moist, plus as you'll see the stock tune has the car running VERY rich.

Re: Bluetooth Pairing issues ? (I did run a search)

Just a follow up post. I went back to Verizon and showed them the phone would not pair with the car, they tried it as well with two different phones of the same model and had no luck. So they allowed me to swap out phones for no additional charge. I ended up with an LG enV VX 9900 and it works just fine with the car.

Apparently Mercedes has the same type of issues with very few phones working well with their bluetooth, so a friend provided me a list they gave him of phones they have tested and know work. They were listed by carrier, make, model, and software version. Mostly Motorola phones with a few from Nokia, LG, Blackberries, and the Apple iPhone. No Samsungs were on the list. So I tried an LG and it works.

Re: Bluetooth Pairing issues ? (I did run a search)

    CIWS,
I would love a copy of that list. My wife's MB won't mate with any of the phones she has tried either. Works with mine, but I have a Motorola. She has to use a Verizon for company business, and would love to know which ones might work.

    Thanks! Bob
