Annoying Dash rattle

I have this dash rattle when i go over bumps right now. it sounds like a tiny screw or something is in there....if i hit the dash on the drivers side above the speedometer and tach i can hear the little rattle....anyone have any ideas or had this before? i may have to take it to the dealer to make them fix it

this is one of the most annoying problems i have with the v. mine rattles mostly when first started, cold, in the exact spot you described. i bought mine from davidstan, and he already had it back a couple times for this same rattle. good luck. let me know if YOU find solution.

had it fixed....mine was a rattle behind the dash when i would accelerate..its a loose screw in behind the speedo///take your service guy on a test drive so you can let him here it!!

I Had The Same Problem... Took It To The Dealer And They Took Care Of It... It Was A Missing Insulator Right Above Tach Area

I had the same problem with my 2007 STSV. They ended up replacing the dash pad and the insulation under it. One note to consider. When the first dealership replaced the dash, they put it all together wrong. I had the front part of the radio panel not sitting flush and the vent openings not flush. After taking it to my second dealership they remounted it all correctly. I find that due to the fact that the dash is unique for the STSV that some dealers are not savy to the correct application.
