I think he is saying (ill put words in his mouth he didn't say) the dealership is getting greedy.. They could fight to total the car and probably should BUT times are tough and the service bay and body shop need money so they tell the ins. they can fix it to get the money and work. When in reality the car will never be the same and should be parted out.

Us as owners are not only fighting the ins company but the dealer or body shop as well.
