Re: Winter Tires

There are the Yoko Advan S4s and I hear Goodyear has an all season F1 tire. Tire Rack does not have the Goodyear listed, but it does have the Yokos. Check a Goodyear store for the all season F1s.

I don't know if they come in your size, but they have an excellent reputation.

Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Winter Tires

I'm using the Pirelli winter tires. They're tough to get, but it makes a huge difference vs the summer tires. Throw a few bags of salt in the trunk along with the winter tires and you can go in almost any weather.

Like most things in life, "all seasons" are compromise. The compound will not "freeze" and become all but useless like a summer tire, but the tread pattern is different and the compound also has to withstand high temps. A winter tire is so soft it would last about 3k in Phoenix.

Re: Winter Tires

Hey zman1; I have a 07 STS 1sg(not V) and had to put on snow's. I purchased 4 Blizzak's (fronts & rears) from www.highperformancetire.com. The wheels are 8.5 X 18. I also bought 4 used wheels so I don't have to go through swapping the tires on/off the wheels when weather changes. If you can't find the 19 inch tires then I think you can get away with 18's if you get the rims.
