Actually I really like the side events... I think the new 08 v has a lot more bling, I also think it stands out a lot more when compared to a regular sts... maybe this go around the sts-v wont have to be given away at way reduced prices

According to trusted sources at GM, the answer is yes. You just have to take the car into your local Cadillac dealer once you have the 2008 key FOBs and have them programmed to your car.

I ordered two from GM today so they can be programmed in sets of two which will ultimately disable the old FOBs. GM retails them at: $98.00 each list. I am getting them less than retail.

Where are the buttons? I could live without the door lock/unlock and the trunk open button, but remote start is a Godsend on hot days here in the South.
