Congrats and enjoy. And I might as well be the first one to say check your oil level often with a V6.

Re: New Guy - 2009 STS

I bought my 6 months ago in UK only 18 STS's here so probably there is more Lambo, Ferrari then STS
    And you know what?
If this car technicaly won't disapoint me (talking about big issues) my next car (if my budget will stay in the same level ) will be next generation.
Everything in this car is like made for me for my requirements ... even if my one is not in full option. (No HUD, MagnaRide adaptive cruise)
I know there is good cars as well like Audi, BWM etc I have been drive them
    And I'll stay with Caddy

I don't realy understand some peoples in Europe which talking that US cars are very very bad they just repeating story about corners and cheap plastics...
I can't see big different between STS and Audi A6. Interior is nice in touch and quiet and also I prefere the design.

So guys, keep fingers crossed for Caddy reliability

Is that a GM "chicklet" on the side of the fender in front of the door?

Just use Castrol Mobil 1 and you will have no problems with the engine. Do not save money on the Cadillac. 3.6 DI is an excellent engine.
Audi A6 ??? It can not even be compared with the Cadillac STS!!!

Re: New Guy - 2009 STS

Some early years of STS V-6 engine will burn oil. My 06 burned 1qt. per 760 miles. Dealer in stalled new piston rings. 51,000 miles later all is good. Danny
