    2007 STS NORTH* electrical

I honestly can't tell what's going on with my car I have added another ground fyi.
So for starters when I roll ask Windows up at once the front two will roll back down by them selves..
Radio and cluster will dim and brighten by themselves..
My mpg readings freak out and say 56 mpg's (only once in a great while)
And tpms flashes saying it had no readings for any tire pressure....
I have taken it to my local Cadillac dealer and they say the problem was fixed..on the house (free)
I have no idea what to do but going some body has had this and knows what to do?

Let's move this from the Customer Care Forum for warranty and dealership complaints - up to the proper later "STS" forum.

That sounds like some kind of alternator issue, possibly. Do you have any codes stored?

What did the Cadillac dealer say the "fix" was? I'm assuming from how I read you post that these are the same symptoms you took it in for? When you say you added another ground, from where to where? I assume you mean the battery to chassis but please clarify. When was the last time the battery was load tested and/or replaced? What does the battery voltage read when these problems are actively occurring?

A failing battery is known to cause weird behavior. I'd bet the dealer checked the car over & found nothing wrong. Get the battery load tested; even new ones can fail. A type 78 fits 2007s and is a lot stronger.
