    Playing music through bluetooth

Is there a way to pay music through 2007 STS bluetooth or do I need to buy adapter to plug into audio?

    Re: Playing music through bluetooth

Are you trying to play thru your phone? And do you have aux connections in arm rest?

    ----------

If you have aux line in console, then you can use http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Hand...lkin+Bluetooth, or something similar, with a 3.5 mm jack to rca cable. This will enable you to do hands free and listen to music on phone. If only interested to music, just buy cable. Your question was vague, and update your automobile in signature in your profile, it helps us answer your questions. Feel free to respond, and welcome to forum.

    Just solved this myself

No - it will not just work as is in the 2013+ models

Yes - I got a Bluetooth receiver that plugs into the center arm rest lighter & outputs audio to the AV inputs

I think u can pay music through the Bluetooth if the radio believes it's a phone call or something. On my s3 when I do a voice Google search it plays sound sounds and things through the car speakers. If someone could exploit this you may be able to do it

Yeah there is a jailbreak tweak on the iPhone to enable that option but it's playback is very low quality like as if you were listening over the phone.

    Re: Playing music through bluetooth

Nice try Curt, but there is no ground loop to isolate. The source and receiver aren't physically connected. I ground loop occurs when both ends of an signal path are connected to different grounds that have a bias.

In fact, the 'hum' is distortion in the phone and the car and isn't really the root issue. The Bluetooth phone protocol won't provide stereo or hi fidelity.

Thanks for all of the comments. They have been great. I tried the mono bluetooth app but the sound quality is horrible. Will purchaser adaptor.

    Thanks again.
