    Temperature knob

As anyone ever experienced this? Only at certain times I've had this happen, not consistent, but sometimes when I'm turning my a/c knob to the right to warm/raise the temperature in my car, the numbers go the opposite way? Like trying to go from 65 degrees to 70(example) the numbers will go down (like from 65 to 60)?

    Re: Temperature knob

I haven't had it happen with the temp knob...
but in my old 99 grand am the radio volume knob did this, the device the knob turns was failing and if i used it and applied pressure at certain angles i could get proper control of the volume.
I replaced the radio shortly thereafter with aftermarket.

I can only assume there is a similar issue with your temp control; you could try light pressure against the knob and see if behavior changes.
Likely you are in the market for a new HVAC control unit.
