Random cords (from factory) in 05 glove box no NAV?

My 05 STS has three cords connected thru the glove box.. One appears to be an iPhone charging cord.. One is some type of video cord and then one seems to be an auxiliary cord.. I don't have the navigation setup and only "source" available is fm, am, and some type of way satellite. There is a syrius antenna on front corner of dash, but on the actual radio all I can choose is xm, are these the same? Any idea what the cords could be from? Or how I would be able to use them? Thanks !

    none of those are factory.

The iPhone didn't exist until 2007, but the 30-pin dock was around longer than that.

Someone likely added the iPod integration kit from PAC-audio that highjacks the XM radio feed.
You change from FM to XM then rotate the tuning dial and it should let you pick iPod/AUX after being highlighted for about 10 seconds it will activate that input.
There shouldn't be any antenna on the dashboard...

    Pics of any of this?

I have the Sirius antenna on my dash too. My choice. I bought the after market setup because I wanted to transfer it between vehicles and my home at the time. I have since retired and no longer use it. I have the nav and just plugged everything into the console jacks. Also because it is a Canadian car and XM or Sirius was not available in Canada at the time, my STS does not have either. May resubscribe as I have bought another vehicle in Florida.

Sirius/XM is still offering cheaper deals if you ask. I like it just enough to be worth the $0.25 a day (or whatever).

I like it too, but, now that I don't drive to work anymore, I don't spend enough time in the car to listen to it.

you guys were correct! the aux 2 can be accessed by going to XM and then turning the scroll, thanks so much for that info!

one strange/annoying thing is out of the 3 cords, the only one i would use is the aux cord, which for some reason is super short, like wont even extend out of the glovebox short..

heres a pic of a cord that i'm not sure what it could be used for..any ideas?

The one in hand looks like an XM antennae cord which attaches to the back of an add on XM receiver. Had one in my pickup.

These modules can support HD Radio (nearly worthless IMHO) or XM Onyx or others.
