Got it! I see it now! I thought that it might be somewhere else. Once I saw "Collision Avoidance" I automatically thought it was referring to the HUD collision avoidance and stopped reading the rest of the description !!

Thanks for the directions on alldatadiy and the tip about alldatadiy. Got 3 years for $20. I think it will be well worth the money! Now to get to work on it .

Found the module in the trunk. The toughest thing was getting in and out of the trunk...YIKES! I almost couldn't get out. Thought I was going to have to call for assistance!!

Your right about that! I tested mine today and got no response at all. Went right to my computer and ordered a new module.

    Re: Park Assist Down

I received my new module yesterday, I popped it in and now it works like it should! Now to see if I can put all the trunk panels back in without breaking something. I think I destroyed the 4 plastic clips that hold up the ceiling during removal so I might have to go pick up a few of those. But I want to make sure I get the "easy to use/remove" replacements because I believe I need a new RIM module.

The problem I'm having with it is my outside trunk button no longer works. The trunk will open with the remote and with the inside button, but not the outside one. It also began to slowly fail, first becoming occasionally intermittent, then worse and worse until it wouldn't work at all. Tried replacing the button to no avail and after reading up on the trio of modules in the trunk I think it's the RIM.

But that's another story that's going off subject and that can wait. At least I canget into the trunk!

Thanks to all you guys that assisted me! I know I wouldn't have been able to get it done without your help.

What do you need to know about the rear integration module?

    Re: Park Assist Down

I bet it has nothing to do with the RIM and is likely just the antenna for the trunk release has failed.

The antenna for the trunk release is the antenna for the rcdlr. If your fob works when pressing buttons on it rather than using the proximity then its not bad. You likely have a failed trunk release button.

    Re: Park Assist Down

As I mentioned I did replace the button, the remote works, and the inside button works.
