Wow impressive. In my opinion you'd have to go all in and do the drl/foglight swap too. If only those were sae 100 lights. If only.

The DRL / Foglight swap would also require a new front bumper as the cutouts are different.
It would be a sweet setup for sure, but even more cost prohibitive...

We can only wish for things like the SAE 100 headlights...

Forgot about the different bumper cutouts. These have the same look of the cts ones. Drl on top and projector on bottom.

Re: So anyone have $2600 to burn???

...the clear section above the "single" bi-xenon AFL lens is the LED "parking light"... ...but yes...they almost look like the newer CTS lights...

...but it's not only the $2600 for the headlights...there are some more "costs"...and some work to do...

...you also need the headlight control module...and a complete -or at least a part of the- SLS front/lamp wiring harness to connect and control the lights...

...Alex ("targetSTS" ) told me, these 2010-up model year uplevel Cadillac SLS lamps use a complete other wiring and "connection system"...the harness and connectors are different to "our" cars...(...e.g. feeding/controlling the auto-leveling and the left-right motors inside the headlights...) ...you have to splice it in into the original harness...

...the headlights/housings themself fit perfectly...same form and all tabs are in the same position as "stock"...

(...the 2010-up model year entry level SLS (and all 2007 - 2009 SLS) still got the same "old" dual lens headlights (with HIDs for driving light) and wiring the european/ECC specs export STS has...)

Re: So anyone have $2600 to burn???

I still like out dual headlamps. More light output with an HID headlight bulb and a halogen HID bulb then a BI-Xenon set up.

The only reason Id consider the upgrade would be if they had integrated light pipes like the newer ATS and XTS. Without that this is just another way to make an STS look like a CTS and I am not a fan of that.

I agree that the stacked dual projectors are nice but auto leveling and swiveling headlamps would be nice.

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you a little bit.
If any forum member gets more SLS equipment my money would be on you getting it done.

Sure would be nice to see them lighted up and to see what kind of output they have.
I wonder if the projector cutoff is the DOT or ECE cutoff...

I'm sure you'll be able to talk PontiacV8 into picking up a set of them.

Ah indeed it does have E9 listed there.
Out of curiosity did the export STS lamps get the ECE cutoff too? (I assume it did but one never really knows what to expect from GM)

...yes...they are ECE approved (mine are E13, and I saw late ones with E9)...and they do...

Nice. Sae100 can be rigged lol get escalade leds and goto work. I'm doing a retro on my fogs bow. Only reason is because the guy that painted my car broke my fog projectors. How I dunno but they are made of glass (bowl is glass smh). But back on tooic I think it would look a tad different than cts. I like em but not $2600 not that much liking lol

Interesting how Cadillacs have the projector reflect blue. You see it when the light is off. Not all automakers do blue. Most don't. But these particular lights don't seem to reflect blue on the projector.
