    Plastidip on rims?

    I just bought this car:

    3FFCCF0B-C28B-408A-BC1F-D5A3ACF008B3_7.jpg

and I'm wondering if I could plastidip the rims black. Has anyone tried doing this yet and if so do you have any pictures?

I'm also getting 20% tints all around this saturday. Do you think I should plastidip the car?

    Re: Plastidip on rims?

I've seen plenty of folks on the CTS forum use plastidip for their wheels, it actually looks pretty good and is completely removable if ever needed, can also be touched up very easily.

As far as the car...I wouldn't ruin that gorgeous white diamond paint with a bunch of plastidip, but hey, it's your car...

Looks exactly like mine actually...what engine? I dont see a N* badge on the rear so I assume it's a V6...

PlastiDip is good for 2.65 HP at idle.

If you want to really go into the high dollar levels, look at the HyperChrom Black or black powdercoat in www.wheelcollision.com

It works fine. My son uses it on his Speed3 wheels. I think he's on the 3rd color in about 6 months.
