    2007 STS Audio and Video inputs

    I have a 2007 STS V with Nav. In center counsel, toward the rear, there are three female receptacles, labeled Video in/ audio in-r/ ausio in-L. I can find no reference in the manuals as to what they are for and how to use them. I assumed you could plug in, with RCA cable, something like and external DVD player and watch on the nav screen but I can not get that to work. If I am right that should mean that I could also hook up and external camera and have it display on the Nav screen. I can not find any mode or Aux setting on the radio to perhaps alow input to the screen. Can anyone help.
    Thank you

    Once you plug the DVD player in, press the aux button and then there should be a button on the screen labeled Video. The picture goes away when you start driving unless you install a lockpick.

    Simple as that.

    I use this input for my iPod and any other device with a 3.5mm headphone jack with this;

    ...works great!

    Just like chazglenn3 said...Press Aux on the console, and then on the screen press the Video button, presto!

    Yep, Audio will play in and out of park but the composite video line gets cut off in drive if you dont have a lockpick. The AUX button is one of the hard buttons on the radio and not a screen button.

    Get volume 2 of the owners manual - it covers the Nav, Bluetooth and all the features associated with the Bose 15.1.
