    IPM picture needed

Does anyone have a picture of the Instrument Panel Module while it is in the car, with the connectors attached?

A picture outside the car is also fine, as long as it has the connectors attached to it.

The IPM is located in the dash, on the passenger side and it has 3 connectors.

    Thank you.

    wish I could help.
You will likely have to wait for ddalder to see this as he would likely have that photo. (he seems to have one of everything under the sun)

    That is a good question...
I'd like to see a 'tune' to the MRC setup...

    Re: IPM picture needed

I'm trying to help out a customer with his retrofit application (first 04-06 LH2 retrofit of which I am aware) and I am building an Instrument Cluster/IPM/ECM/TCM network on a bench, but I have not had any luck getting the IPM to talk yet. I wanted to verify that I was reading the diagrams correctly and I was. I might try a different IPM because all my connections checked out.

Ludacrisvp, here is the thread 1BadCadSTS mentioned:
    http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...ng-update.html

I have been busy with other projects, and I didn't get a chance to reliably test my modifications on the ESCM through more cornering abuse. From my observations so far, the range of adjustment is somewhat limited, so it won't turn into a track car with just a tune.

Personal dealings with him he mentioned it to me. Wasn't sure if it was posted on forum.

    Ah.
I'd like to see a softer "touring mode" which I assume could be achieved via some setting changes. I would also like a stiffer "performance mode".

Don't want it any stiffer, softer would be nice though on the freeway.

Is this possible to be done. I would love to have this done to my car. And what is that picture of the drivers or passenger side
