    17" Polished Wheels (cleaning help)

    Hey guys,

With the warm weather around the corner (Toronto) i have been on the hunt for a better method of cleaning the 17" polished wheels. These wheels are an extreme pain to clean and i have yet to find a product that i am completely satisfied with. I was wondering if some members could possibly chime in and provide some help in regards to cleaning methods/products to use. Thanks in advance.

Any specific brand of soap? I have used multiple rim cleaners from Meguires and still quite disappointed in the outcome especially since i clean them by hand using a mitt.

I've tried pretty much all brands of rim cleaner. I like Eagle 1 A-Z All Wheel And Tire Cleaner.

Just the meguires car wash....I'm afraid to put chemicals on them so they are cleaned once a week with the rest of the car

06whitediamond, I use 409 cleaner. Buy it by the 64oz size. Works great. Danny

I've got he 18's & just dry them after a wash. I think they look great.

Maybe you need different brake pads next time?
