Help! Please - 2005 STS window problems

I have a 2005 sts. My windows will not work at all. They will not go up or down. I bought a brand new master switch on the drivers side panel. It still didn't fix it. Does anyone know any other things that could be wrong. Thank you

    +1, Rippy:

Fuse; just about always the best place to start looking.

Check fuses and then. Sounds like a motor if not fuses.

    Re: Help! Please

Power for the window motors is supplied by a 30A self-resetting circuit breaker. It's possible that the C/B is bad. Can you open/close other windows with their respective switches? If so, the C/B won't be the problem. If not, the C/B is one of the top suspects.

    Re: Help! Please

i think those breakers have their part numbers stamped on them directly ... if you take it out and see the 8-digit GM number stamped into it then any dealer should be able to get you one

if they're expensive i can save you some $$
