In my experience, the Bose speakers are 2 ohm and you can buy higher quality 2 ohm replacement speakers that will work with your system. Just match size and depth. You may need an adapter for specialty sized speakers. I have the 5.1 so I can't give specific feedback sizes and install foe the STS. I did a similar swap on an Infiniti G35 coupe.

Try Crutchfield.com. They also will give you instructions on how to remove panels/replace speakers.

Maybe for you or me but not everybody understands audio and mistakes can be expensive. Many people save money by using an expert.

Remember the German member that complained about wind noise from the an air leak at the top of his door above 110? Don't watch while your favorite body man fixes it!

Easy, several members have done this. Tap the existing Woofer signal, low-pass filter optional, amplify & enjoy!
