You have to remove the black wheel well plastic and you can access the back of the light. Best way is to jack the car up and remove the wheel. If you can get to it without removing the wheel, more power to ya. Lol

    Re: Front right turn lamp

I held that "power" when I owned my CTS I changed out fogs and DRL bulbs without removing anything but the wheel well liner, even that was only half removed. I just took off enough retainers to enable me to pull it back enough to get my arm in there. Looks like the STS is pretty much identical in that sense but I haven't attempted it yet. (Guarantee I have a bulb go out now VERY soon, knock on wood.)

All I did on the CTS was cranked the wheel from one side to the other depending on which side I was working on...seemed to work out OK, took about 15 minutes per side, maybe.

My OEM bulbs are all still OK! Not bad for a car built over 7 years ago. (Yeah, I'm tempting fate!)

    Re: Front right turn lamp

The little, corner bulbs went out on my 06 about a month ago...figured a bumper drop was a good spring day project so I've been saving it until it WARMS UP, DAMN WINTER GO AWAY!, ok, sorry for that rant, but jeez...

Pretty sure the rest of mine are factory, I inspected what I could see and the various nuts/bolts don't appear to have been tampered with, but you never know....Man, I'm just asking for it now....

    Tell me about it!!!
One of my peanut lamps is dead, both front parking lights are dead as well. (even though I proactively replaced them at the same time as the first time I replaced the fog lamps in mid to late summer.)
Both of the peanut lamps were working intermittently and would turn on with a tap to the outside of the headlight, but that doesn't work on the driver lamp anymore.

Been asking myself that same question for a LONG time....In the USA you either get winter, humidity, rain, or earthquakes...pick your poison
