    New 07 STS AWD owner

    Hi folks,

This Friday I'll pick up an 07 STS AWD with the 3.6. I'm searching the forum for mods and info on the iSimple Gateway ISGM574 but would appreciate any direct suggestions, recommendations or comments. This is my first Cadillac but have a YukonXL and an 81 Corvette. Great to have this community available much like the Corvette Forum.

Am reading that the STS came from the factory with a good CAI and also that there aren't a lot of mods. I didn't buy the car to race it, so not looking for massive bhp gains, just want to learn what's available and what others have done. Go easy n a newbie!

Unless you were doing something radical like adding boost via a sc or turbo, I'd leave the power alone unless you want the added sound of a CAI or exhaust.

Enjoy the STS. It's a fine car!

    Hi Carver,

    Welcome!

There's a good bunch here that love these cars. They're quite the value.

Hey thanks all. Got the car and had it for the week. Dealer is fixing two last probs - lumbar seat motor and replacing the rack and pinion. I guess there were issues with these R&P units in several GM cars. Anyway, will have pics soon.
