Hey guys, I have a concern on my 2005 Cadillac STS whenever I make a turn at low speeds my steering wheel squeaks or squeals and I hear something from the inside assembly right behind the steering wheel but I don't know if it's a easy fix but if it is it possible to open the but inside and spray or grease something..? Another factor is weather conditions because when it was cold, it didn't make that noise but now that it's warm it makes it here n there... Thanks alot for any help!

If it's the known issue, grease can help. I forget the specifics of the TSB but check the 'sticky' thread at the top of the forum.

check steering fluid level and overall condition.
dirty fluid can cause this noise.
Also it's can be bad steering pump. But first check fluid and replace if needed.

Checked the fluid, seems fine, it does it in different weather conditions, especially when it gets warm at low low speeds or being still you can hear it squeak.. Anyone else have an issue like this? I wanna open up behind the steering wheel and lubricate whatever I can see lol it's annoying!

A little lube might do it but early models did have some issues with the rack.

Have this same issue, comes and goes. Dealer lubed it back in 08, seems to be more prevelant in warm weather, never in the winter. Something I can tolerate but lubing it did help.
