I have the polished aluminum 18's and I think they look great, just right. Only thing that I may change in the future is the color, I like the all blacked out look, probably with painted calipers... I really like the look of those yellow V calipers.

The engine isn't making any less power with larger wheels. Since they are bigger than stock, you have changed the moment of inertia. This makes what you perceive as a driver to feel less as it takes more energy to get the tires moving.

I like the style of the body, but unfortunately with those wheels, all I see is wheels. They catch my attention and detract from the rest of the car. Far too much "wheel".

It's weird I have not seen any vossen rim on the sts? I'm leaning towards the 20inch cv3's but unsure if I'll have any problems with them since no one has tried them on here (the cts guys do)

I could not agree more. Huge, gaudy wheels are for boring, less attractive cars.

If I ever got 20's they'd be Vogue CV-7's, but MN roads are absolute dog doo doo so I don't know if I ever will.

I love those cv-7 wheels. I have a set of 22 inch Asanti af-122 I'll trade for those. Even the vossen cv7 version looks good. Especially the concave staggered ones.

Finally lowered my 05 today. Sitting on 22's with a very aggressive rear offset. I understand some of you guys saying 22's look rediculous but to each their own.

Your aerodynamics go down the tubes when your car gets excited.

The front grille is a great improvement. What kind of paint did you use?

The springs are D3 & Yes, the bumper is killing me too, LMAO. I have a brand new bumper at my buddy's shop. He is smoothing the seam on that Black panel where the stock exhaust came out & integrating the V-coupe stainless trim bezel & heat shield. It's almost done!!!! I can't wait.

    Re: Are 22's to big

I'd be concerned about hitting a bump while turning sitting that low. ... is the Tint about 20%?
But the view from the front looks good with the stance it has now.

Time to open the headlights and mute / tint the chrome in them a little bit? (since everything else is smoked/tinted)
