One of the two dried up so I put a silicone seal around the edges. It appeared to be lacking in a couple of spots. I then redid the tape on the back end. And I made sure there was no way for water to get in although I don't think this was the culprit. Then I krazy glued the rubber shell to the light. It was kind of loosely attached previously.

Rain on Tuesday so we'll see then. Hopefully the other side dries out before then so I can do the same on that side before rain.

Krazy Glue works best for me with hard surfaces that fit together well.

Well I haven't got the one side to dry out yet but the side I did work on is cured.

    Re: Side marker lights(front fender)

Well I haven't updated but I continued to have problems with leaking on both lights. I removed them and reattempted to seal them 3-4 times each to no avail. By the time I was fed up, one of them developed a puddle and I couldn't get the puddle to leak out. This tells me the light was sealed well by now and the condensation was coming from behind (in the fender.)

Anyway, talked to the vendor and they're very cool about sending me new ones. I'm sending these back.

What I'd like to do to make sure I don't have this problem again is this: I know you guys said you don't have this issue. Can one of you pull out the light and snap a picture of how you taped up the inside portion to waterproof it?

I want to make sure I'm doing it right this time (assuming this was my fault which I doubt.)

    Thanks.

    Re: Side marker lights(front fender)

Well I managed to screw up another pair. I poured automotive sealant down the hole and it leaked into the outside portion (inside the lens) and I assume screwed it all up. It tore up that chrome looking aluminum crap that surrounds the LEDs. The sealant I used wasn't black like the one I see above. So I'd have to order another pair if I care enough to try again. I'll think about it.
