    BATTERY test

Had problems with STS with Tranny shitfing and battery died about two weeks ago car is fine now. Never found out what cause was. Did rain for about 3 days water puddles were deep. Since then car has started real rough idle for about 30 secs to one minute on initial start, after that car runs and starts right up smooth. Did notice when i put pedal to floor don't feel like it gets all power like it used to. I cleaned throttle body, MAF sensor, and fuel injectors. Manifold bolts good and torqued proper,No CEL light. Question is what if i disconnect battery and maybe it will reset or help it somehow. I have exhausted all means, shop hooked diagnostic showed no history. Anybody out there Cadillac guru?

    Re: BATTERY test

Right after purchasing my 2006 I began having issues that ending up being the result of stressed wiring at the throttle-body controls. The codes suggested the throttle pedal. The repair required was at the other end.
