    Help Identifying HID housing

Hey guys, here at a Chrysler dealership, just traded a 05 STS v8 doesnt appear to have hids at all but a couple of the tecs say it does. Just got in a big argument over it and they left the car until tomorrow, i snapped a quick pic before leaving and didnt get a chance to open the headlight housing.

I checked the spair tire lid for:
For now, check the buiild label on your spare tire cover:

TT6 - HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE (HID) HEADLAMPS
    T84 - HEADLAMPS, TUNGSTEN HALOGEN

and it says T84. So we assumed no hids. heres the housing:

So i was 100% sure it was halogen but a couple techs are still fighting about it, seems stupid but no one wanted to work on it until we were sure. sounds stupid i know, all they have to do is open the housing but it wont get touched until monday. What do you guys think?

OEM HID's always have pop-out headlight washers. Game over.

    If retrofit, YMMV!

    Re: Help Identifying HID housing

Well Ill go into some more detail. I traded the car in, (im a salesman).

The car had a passanger side low beam out, and the safety tech stopped working on it saying it need an hid bulb, parts department said $900. (insert LOL here).

So, Ive been installing hid kits, doing retros through www.theretrofitsource.com and selling the kits for years now. Granted i dont know what the GM factory ballasts look like. I know what hids look like and this DID NOT HAVE THEM! So all the techs here at the dealership are 55+ years old, they all get pissed and start throwing brake pads saying I dont know what the F&%$ im talking about blah blah. I tell the GM to believe me and save $900. So they pull the bumper off and see that plastic cover that says Caldwell or something which i thought was a GM hid supplier. So now all the techs are convinced that it does and the stop working on the car to spite us and leave it till monday.

The GM just went and physically opened the housing and pulled out a H11 low beam, smashed it inside the techs tool box and through all his tools on the ground and said have a nice weekend.

End of story, sorry its over quick, but I got the answer I needed.
