HELP! Svc everything after running over something in the road

    Hello,

I'm trying to help out a buddy with a 05 STS V6 RWD. He was on his way to work when ran over something metal in the road. The car now displays svc brake assit, AC, Steering, Stability, and gas gauge not working. His steering wheel feels tighter than normal. I took a look under the car to see what was hit and along the cross member of the frame it was hit pretty hard, There are wires that run along frame that were severed along with a 2" hole in the crossmember. I want to reconnect the wires but the issue at hand is that there are about 12 wires but 3 are black and another 3 are gray. Does anyone know if these are simple ground wires and can reconnected or do I really need to be sure that I find the correct order. The other colored wires are a non issue. I'm hope this will correct the SVC everything being flashed. Any help is appreciated wire diagram etc.

    Thanks!

If he doesn't have comp, he may be screwed. He needs a full reset and then see what still complains. A good Caddy mechanic and lotsa luck will help.

If he does have comprehensive coverage, no worries. Take it to a dealer and let them price a replacement.
