I have a set of these on my 2005 bonneville GXP, Northstar. Have had them almost 3 years now. apprx 25,000 miles on them. Excellent tires. Showing No wear. Ill be putting these Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum tires on my STS when my factory tires wear a little more. Cant beat the quality and the price. I kind of hesitated originally on buying a foreign made tire, but so much of the car is foreign anyhow.
I have these Kumho on my 2006 STS. I have found them to be excellent. I would recommend you to keep to the same size. You are able to do a proper rotation and the life span should be good. I have the staggered sizes on my car and found the life span has been cut in half. The ride on these Kumho are excellent and quiet. Like other people have mentioned, the prices are very reasonable compared to the Michelins.
Well, I guess that's another thing to check on the actual tires, where they're made. Mine are made in Korea. I won't put chinese made tires on my cars. My Kumho Ecsta platinums have no discernable tread wear after nearly 7,000 miles since i bought my STS.
I have the Kumho Ecsta platinums. I have run about 40K on two 18" sets. Not as quiet as I would like. When new they are pretty good. The two main problems with hem as the age are poor rain performance, and the get hard, so the ride is stiffer.
