There is a new update CD for the blue tooth in the radio. Also make sure that the in call volume on the phone is turned all the way down. NOT THE RINGER VOLUME.

    Re: Bluetooth Echo

Could you give me more details on the update CD? Release numbers? Part numbers? Release date? Anything? I called Sewell Cadillac here in Dallas and they want me to bring the car in to check. I may later this afternoon.

I hadn't thought of turning the call volume down since it should be turned off due the bluetooth connection, but I will give it a try.

    Thanks,
    Doug Davis

    Re: Bluetooth Echo

Different phones seem to have some issues; the Bluetooth activation protocol should be better. I find caller audio quality is best when the STS volume is as low as feasible.

One member claimed much improvement (especially VR) after relocating the microphone to the headliner near the drivers left ear.

Ok, I did take my 2009 STS *N in to Sewell Cadillac Friday afternoon. Although, they didn't say anything about a firmware update, they did find some TSB for Bluetooth echo that has them replacing the microphone. I should get it back some time tomorrow and I'll see if it fixes anything.
