I agree with you. I read 1BadCadSTX's post and thought the excact same. Who is he to question why you want to do a brake conversion.

There are so many people like you on this forum that do nothing but negatively criticize what others are doing or trying to do with their cars. Obviously things are sometimes going to be trial and error for some people but its the fact that people are trying to modify or customize their cars in their own ways because they don't make many mods for these cars. Secondly, I attempted this because obviously I wanted better braking performance. I bought a couple of parts for the swap but obviously just didn't pick up everything that I needed. There isn't a step by step guide to doing this swap so maybe you should make one since you know so much about it. Sorry if I don't see the harm in that and understand why you need to be such a smartass. But its okay because its not going to ruin my day and I know just how tough everyone can be over a keyboard. But to the others with actual helpful comments and remarks, I appreciate it and thank you.

Don't forget that you have to make the same type of modifications to both the front and rear of the car to retain the braking action balance.

Just curious why you felt the need to resurrect such an old a post. And did you really offer anything of any worth?

Oh I didn't question it. I said who's the brain surgeon who clearly knows nothing about upgrading his brakes attempting to upgrade his brakes himself. I wouldn't want my children driving on the same roads as this joker. Brakes are not thing thing to attempt to learn how to mod on.

While I may not agree with his wording, I'm with ^ on this one. I don't want to be in front of a car with altered brakes unless done by full time professionals.

    We're done here.
