2006 Cadillac STS leaking gas ?????
Hi there i'm new in this wondrful forum and i need your help with this issue:
Yestarday i just bought new 2006 Cadillac STS V8 "zero" mile form our dealer. It was setting in the dealer inventory for a long time. and there some rust on it but NOT that much ..
Today I stopped to fill my car up and i went out with another car, After hours i get back and the cadillac was leaking gas under the tank ?
i will take the car to the servies but if anyone have idea what is the problem i'll appreciate your help.

The tank was overfilled, the gas warmed up, expanded, and was forced out the vent.

I've never had this happen, but I never top off.
My wife always tops off and I've never noticed her STS doing it.

I've seen it dozens of times, more on older cars.
