I know this has been beat to death already but, can someone please describe in normal human terms the easiest way to replace the front head light bulbs, led bulb and the fog lights without tearing apart the front end.
Also, what replacement bulbs go with the 2005 STS's
Cadillac had to go and screw things up by making it surgery to replace something as simple as a bulb.
If you have pics, that would really help.
Thanks in advance for all your help!
-Desperate STS Owner that just wants to replace some bulbs.
Sorry to bear bad news, but I spent half a Saturday at a Caddy dealer with a tech trying to find a way fo my '07
Best we could come up with is to half remove the front end (pick a side, left or right) and kinda push the nose down a little.
Still had to jack the car, remove the front wheel, inside wheel housing and a couple bolts/clips from the nose, but we never actually took the nose off.
And it did require both of us to do it (one pushing down, the other unbolting)
Problem is, there is one bolt down low in front that you can't get at without the nose being moved. and you must remove the headlight assy to get to the cover in back adn get access to the bulb.
Even if you could get the cover off the back of the assy, there is no way to get your hands in to line up the bulbs and connect the harness.
