Oil Change Questions - STS V8 NorthStar

I am getting ready to do my first oil change on my 06 STS V8 and can really use some help with the following questions..

    1. I got the car up on ramps last night and took a picture of the underside. I wanted to make sure the bolt highlighted in the picture *is* the drain plug.

    2. It seems like the oil drain plug uses a 13mm socket. Is this correct ?

    3. Is there a washer under the drain plug that needs to be replaced during the oil change. My previous car (a Volvo) had an aluminium washer that needed replacement with the filter - that's the reason I ask.

    4. Does somebody know the torque spec for the oil drain bolt ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards..

    Yes.

    Yes.

No. There is a rubber washer on the bolt that does not need to be replaced.
    4. Does somebody know the torque spec for the oil drain bolt ?
My spec is as tight as I can get it with 1 hand and no breaker bar.

I recommend the AC Delco filter. It is like $3.50 at autozone. I fill the filter with oil before I screw it on.

pretty sure thats it, if the drain plug is like most gm vehicles I've worked on the "washer" so to speak is really part of the drain plug. I will be all one piece so you shouldn't have to worry about replacing it.. Haven't changed mine myself yet but the days getting close....

That's the plug. No washer to replace. Don't know torque specs. I've changed my oil twice myself and haven't had any leaks (from the plug, damn car leaks everywhere else, lol). I would also recommend the AC Delco filter, it is what came from the factory and it's cheap.
