Really looks like a stretched CTS under that camouflage...

I think they all ARE CTSs. They are based on the same platform, so there is no reason not to use the CTS as a mule for the various systems of the STS. Look at the scale of the mule next to the other cars - it's too small to be a STS, even the new model....IMHO

Personally, if the cadillac was so squared like that and shapped, i would not buy that. It looks like a funny car.

I think it could be a good lookng car under those covers
however i think they shouldnt ues projector beam
headlights on it i think they should go with reflectors over
clear lenses like the deville( 2000 up ) with bright blue
High intensity discharge , and continue to use a trunk
width L.E.D brake lamp like an STS should

"THESE ARE supposed to have 400 hp. "

The STS will most likely carry the same engines as the SRX that shares its platform and dimensions, which means base v-6 and optional northstar. The 400hp could come in the form of the V-series

A V6 Seville. I think it might actually be pretty popular, since its the "import fighter" and most imports have base V6s. Better gas mileage and some people like the smoother sound instead of a rumble. I think if they're gonna do that, make a new inline 6. Then you might start seeing sales.

    But no Lame Duck I6!!!

    Re: 2005 Cadillac STS

I agree, most people here cringe when they hear cadillac and v-6 in the same sentence. But if its gonna compete with E320 and 530i, then a 6 is not a bad choice, especially for the city dwellers.

I believe Car and Driver said, "As the Art & Science design matures, the 2005 STS will have softer lines."

So it might not have the shockingly slammed creases as the CTS, but will have some of the character.

    My guess...

After reading Jesda's post I decided to take a CTS and change it around, soften it out, and eventually ended up with this which is my guess what the new STS will look like

    What do you all think?
